Pursued by a Bear is a twelve-minute dark comedy about perseverance and HOPE.
Set in a dark, grungy theatre, populated with maniacal, wannabe actors, we explore the crossroads between healthy competition and ruthless desperation. It is both a quirky love letter to the theatre and harkening to the (occasional) cruelty of show business. This film is for anyone who has ever DREAMED; anyone who has ever been told NO.
LOGLINE:
Another bout of rejection leaves aspiring actress Panacea even more desperate for a role on the stage. With a father who no longer believes in her and one last chance to audition, will her passion be enough or get her blacklisted forever?
