The film follows Wesley, a young worker whose days unfold inside a small grocery store, where repetitive gestures and mechanical sounds contrast with his desire to build a future as a beatmaker. While his imagination insists on projecting possible paths forward, these visions are gradually crushed by routine, low wages, and structural precarity.
By centering an ordinary workday, the film exposes how capitalism disciplines time, desire, and imagination, giving voice to a working class forced to negotiate between dreaming and surviving within an oppressive social order
