Teaching the art and science of medicine is an artform in itself. The standard mantra in medicine is the see one, do one, teach one principle. Yet far too often the teaching opportunity does not present itself readily.
Our peer teaching system creates a comfortable and safe educational environment, while the peer teacher acts as a role model and provides further motivation. It breathes passion, excitement and elation into an otherwise predominantly fact-based science. It teaches us to be human and humane in a creative and engaging way.
Being a peer teacher is simply awesome.
